Suman Ghosh

I am a PhD student at the Robotic Interactive Perception lab at Technische Universität Berlin. I work on neuromorphic vision for robotics. Previously, I was a Research Fellow in the EDPR group at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Italy.

 

I have a joint Masters in Robotics from the University of Genoa and the Warsaw University of Technology through EMARO+, during which I was an Erasmus Mundus scholarship holder. I have a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Jadavpur University.

 

I have industrial experience working on Big Data Distributed Systems as a Specialist Programmer in Expert Track, Infosys Ltd. India. I have also worked on Learning, Vision, Human Computer Interaction and Evolutionary Computation at the Carnegie Mellon University, USA and the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.

I am also involved with Beyond the Block, an initiative to bridge the gap among underprivileged children across the world to help them learn from each other. I contribute primarily as a technical consultant, web designer and mentor. My other passions include football, travelling, music, cooking (and eating).
